General Information

·         The camp is closed on Sundays. No activities will be scheduled.

·         Check-in and check-out procedures - Upon reserving the camp, you will receive an information packet via e-mail or by regular mail to guide you through the entire process.

·         A trash dumpster is available for all trash and is located by the large pavilion. 

·         Cost of vandalism, including graffiti and broken or lost equipment, will be assessed to the responsible stake/ward/family/individual.

·         Parking is allowed in designated areas onlyDrive on the main road only.  Skateboards, roller-blades, motorcycles, and ATV's of any type are not permitted. Bicycles are permitted on gravel roads only.

·        The speed limit on the main camp road is 15 m.p.h.  The loop around the large pavilion is 5 m.p.h.  

·         No pets are allowed.  

·         Archery and firearms are not permitted in any area of camp.

·         Due to the vicinity to neighbors, activities must end by 10:00 PM and campers should stay as quiet as possible.

·         Heaters of any type (electric, propane, gas, kerosene, etc.) are not permitted anywhere in the camp.  

·         Nails, screws, tape, tacks, and staples are not permitted for use in or on building interiors or exteriors, signs, or vegetation.

·         Do not cut any live plants or treesThere is plenty of dead wood at the camp for fires.

·         Fires are permitted in designated fire rings only. Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished completely. No candles, lighter fluid, or fireworks of any kind are permitted.

·         There are poisonous snakes and fire ants at the camp. Knowledge of how to treat their bites is essential. All groups must have someone that is knowledgeable in first aid techniques.

·        There are 4 medical centers within 30 to 45 minutes of the camp. For a list of these medical centers and directions from the camp, please go to the Medical Centers page. 

·         Campers must stay on marked trailsBe alert and observe safe hiking practices. There are several dangerously large drop-offs from hillsides, rocks, and cliffs. Be especially cautious at dark and do not wander off marked trails.

·         Children must stay in the presence of adults at all times.

·         Most cell phones are within range from many parts of the camp. There are no landline phones at the camp.  

·         Participants in Church activities should be covered by personal accident and health insurance.
