Hulaco Youth and Family Camp is owned by The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints and is located in the extreme
southeast corner of Morgan County, Alabama near the small
community of Hulaco [hoo-lay-koh].
The camp's primary purpose is
to support the Young Women camp program; however, all groups and
families in the Church are welcome and encouraged to use the
camp when Young Women camps are not scheduled.
The 138-acre recreational camp
currently serves the following ten stakes: Bessemer Alabama
Stake, Birmingham Alabama Stake, Cartersville Georgia
Stake, Chattanooga Tennessee Stake, Franklin Tennessee Stake,
Huntsville Alabama Stake, Madison Alabama Stake, Montgomery
Alabama Stake, Powder Springs Georgia Stake, Tupelo Mississippi
